Final Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content

The European Commission published the final (voluntary) Code of Practice on Transparency of AI-Generated Content — a tool for complying with Article 50(2) and (4) of the AI Act (marking and detecting AI content, labelling deepfakes). The transparency obligations apply from 2 August 2026.
