This Regulation should be applied in accordance with the values of the Union enshrined as in the Charter, facilitating the protection of natural persons, undertakings, democracy, the rule of law and environmental protection, while boosting innovation and employment and making the Union a leader in the uptake of trustworthy AI.

El presente Reglamento debe aplicarse de conformidad con los valores de la Unión consagrados en la Carta, lo que facilitará la protección de las personas físicas, las empresas, la democracia, el Estado de Derecho y la protección del medio ambiente y, al mismo tiempo, impulsará la innovación y el empleo y convertirá a la Unión en líder en la adopción de una IA fiable.
