Amendments to Regulation (EU) 2018/1139

in Article 17, the following paragraph is added:

‘3.   Without prejudice to paragraph 2, when adopting implementing acts pursuant to paragraph 1 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council^*, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.

in Article 19, the following paragraph is added:

‘4.   When adopting delegated acts pursuant to paragraphs 1 and 2 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.’

in Article 43, the following paragraph is added:

‘4.   When adopting implementing acts pursuant to paragraph 1 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.’

in Article 47, the following paragraph is added:

‘3.   When adopting delegated acts pursuant to paragraphs 1 and 2 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.’

in Article 57, the following subparagraph is added:

‘When adopting those implementing acts concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.’

in Article 58, the following paragraph is added:

‘3.   When adopting delegated acts pursuant to paragraphs 1 and 2 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.’.

À l’article 17, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:

«3.   Sans préjudice du paragraphe 2, lors de l’adoption d’actes d’exécution conformément au paragraphe 1 en ce qui concerne les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle qui sont des composants de sécurité au sens du règlement (UE) 2024/1689 du Parlement européen et du Conseil^*, il est tenu compte des exigences énoncées au chapitre III, section 2, dudit règlement.

  Règlement (UE) 2024/1689 du Parlement européen et du Conseil du 13 juin 2024 établissant des règles harmonisées concernant l’intelligence artificielle et modifiant les règlements (CE) no 300/2008, (UE) no 167/2013, (UE) no 168/2013, (UE) 2018/858, (UE) 2018/1139 et (UE) 2019/2144 et les directives 2014/90/UE, (UE) 2016/797 et (UE) 2020/1828 (règlement sur l’intelligence artificielle) (JO L, 2024/1689, 12.7.2024, ELI: http://data.europa.eu/eli/reg/2024/1689/oj).»."

À l’article 19, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:

«4.   Lors de l’adoption d’actes délégués conformément aux paragraphes 1 et 2 en ce qui concerne les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle qui sont des composants de sécurité au sens du règlement (UE) 2024/1689, il est tenu compte des exigences énoncées au chapitre III, section 2, dudit règlement.».

À l’article 43, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:

«4.   Lors de l’adoption d’actes d’exécution conformément au paragraphe 1 en ce qui concerne les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle qui sont des composants de sécurité au sens du règlement (UE) 2024/1689, il est tenu compte des exigences énoncées au chapitre III, section 2, dudit règlement.».

À l’article 47, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:

«3.   Lors de l’adoption d’actes délégués conformément aux paragraphes 1 et 2 en ce qui concerne les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle qui sont des composants de sécurité au sens du règlement (UE) 2024/1689, il est tenu compte des exigences énoncées au chapitre III, section 2, dudit règlement.».

À l’article 57, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:

«Lors de l’adoption de ces actes d’exécution en ce qui concerne les systèmes d’intelligence artificielle qui sont des composants de sécurité au sens du règlement (UE) 2024/1689, il est tenu compte des exigences énoncées au chapitre III, section 2, dudit règlement.».

À l’article 58, le paragraphe suivant est ajouté:
