Amendment to Regulation (EU) 2018/858

In Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858 the following paragraph is added:
‘4. When adopting delegated acts pursuant to paragraph 3 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council (*), the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.

All'articolo 5 del regolamento (UE) 2018/858 è aggiunto il paragrafo seguente:
«4. Nell'adottare atti delegati a norma del paragrafo 3 per quanto concerne i sistemi di intelligenza artificiale che sono componenti di sicurezza ai sensi del regolamento (UE) 2024/1689 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio (*), si tiene conto dei requisiti di cui al capo III, sezione 2, di tale regolamento.
