Amendment to Regulation (EU) 2018/858

In Article 5 of Regulation (EU) 2018/858 the following paragraph is added:
‘4. When adopting delegated acts pursuant to paragraph 3 concerning Artificial Intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council (*), the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.

En el artículo 5 del Reglamento (UE) 2018/858, se añade el apartado siguiente:
«4. Al adoptar actos delegados en virtud del apartado 3 relativos a sistemas de inteligencia artificial que sean componentes de seguridad en el sentido del Reglamento (UE) 2024/… del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo (*), se tendrán en cuenta los requisitos establecidos en el capítulo III, sección 2, de dicho Reglamento.
