Amendment to Regulation (EU) No 167/2013

In Article 17(5) of Regulation (EU) No 167/2013, the following subparagraph is added:
‘When adopting delegated acts pursuant to the first subparagraph concerning artificial intelligence systems which are safety components within the meaning of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 of the European Parliament and of the Council (*), the requirements set out in Chapter III, Section 2, of that Regulation shall be taken into account.

All'articolo 17, paragrafo 5, del regolamento (UE) n, 167/2013 è aggiunto il comma seguente:
«Nell'adottare atti delegati a norma del primo comma per quanto concerne i sistemi di intelligenza artificiale che sono componenti di sicurezza ai sensi del regolamento (UE) 2024/1689 del Parlamento europeo e del Consiglio (*), si tiene conto dei requisiti di cui al capo III, sezione 2, di tale regolamento.
